Horace Mann Glass Claims Process

Steps:

  • Call Horace Mann Fast Glass (aka Safelite Solutions) @ 888-321-9391

  • Provide your auto policy number (see your ID card) to open a glass claim

  • Communicate which glass shop you prefer (one option listed below) and then you will need to set up an appointment with the glass shop at their facility or for them to come to you in their mobile unit

  • Give Safelite Solutions a “date of loss." If you don’t remember the exact date, just give them a date as close as you can and they'll confirm if you had coverage on that date

The Windshield Connection (a Washington Terrace company)

  • Specializes in mobile appointments

  • Requires a claim number to set appointment to get work done but you can call in advance to get a quote

  • Does rock chip repair @ $50 plus tax  ($0 cost to insured if there is comprehensive coverage)

  • Potentially waives up to $100 off the deductible for a windshield (unlike Safelite Glass). Get confirmation of pricing by phone before the appointment
